13 hours ? Arsenal’s Emile Smith Rowe causes confusion with new tattoo
Arsenal Young Emile Smith Rowe has caught the eye for his new tattoo, but perhaps not in the way he would have hoped.
The latest midfield artwork features a lion under a cracked clock with Roman numerals on it.
But the 21-year-old’s new ink has sparked discussion among fans as many believe they have spotted a mistake.
Smith Rowe tattoo 1 p.m.?
At a glance, Smith Rowe’s latest tattoo appears to have an error in the Roman numerals.
The clock has 13 digits instead of 12, and the digit four is written IIII instead of the more recognized IV.
However, the inspiration for the tattoo seems to come from the cover art of Nancy Drew’s point-and-click adventure game, “Secret of the Old Clock.”
Still, many fans on social media mocked the design, with some even calling on Smith Rowe to seek some form of redress from the tattoo artist.
Additionally, social media posts showing the body art appear to have been deleted, further prompting fans to wonder if the Gunners star was disappointed with the end result.
